PROFILE:

Susie Hartnoll is a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) qualified Yoga Teacher, she began teaching in 2008.   Susie was introduced to Yoga in 2004, inspired by the benefits of a steady Yoga practice, she has continued to explore the therapeutic effects of Yoga on the mind and body.  She initially completed an intensive Interdisciplinary Yoga Teacher training at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica.  Following on from this, Susie undertook the BWY Teacher Diploma with Tara Fraser and Wendy Haring at Yoga Junction in London. Her Yoga teaching is influenced by Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and more restorative approaches as well.    She regularly attends workshops and classes to develop and inform her teaching and she has studied with renowned teachers including Seane Corn, Kino McGregor, Danny Paradise and John Scott.  She also attended the Yoga and Anatomy course with Paul Fox and Dr Ruth Gilmore at the Life Centre in London

Susie is an experienced Holistic and Deep Tissue Massage Therapist and has been practicing since 2007, having trained at Bristol College of Massage & Bodywork (BCMB)

She has studied Oriental Medicine and Life Counselling, and is a Certified Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

Susie has a particular interest in Anatomy and Physiology related to Yoga and Health.  She has a BSc. Hons degree in Human Physiology from The University of Leeds, and graduated in 2003.  She has a post-graduate teaching qualification (PGCE) and taught Human Biology in Further Education for a number of years

Susie teaches Anatomy and Physiology based workshops and courses for students and teachers of Yoga who are interested in developing their knowledge in this area
